Today I got to go on The Al Frankin Show and ask a question to a Col. Hackman who is the most decorated war hero since WWII. Today they were discussing 'Should there be a draft?' Col. Hackman told his story about how he stepped out of The Vietnam War because he saw it was an 'unlawful war' that could not be won. He said the exact same thing about The Iraqi War! This time the draft would be able to draft women as well! Let's just say, the tenor of the mood today was less than favorable for any kind of a draft!
I got to ask this man 'the big question' today. I didn't use the 'N'-word---I just said, "Do you know sir when the announcement of our freedom is coming?"
He said [paraphrased] I know what you are talking about but I cannot even begin to go there in any way! But---I want you to know that 'these characters' are all war criminals to the highest degree! They have violated The Geneva Convention, The U.N. Charters, International Law and all documents concerning the correct Rules Of Engagement. What they have done goes far beyond what Hitler did and they are going to pay for their crimes. They will be tried, convicted and executed according to the letter of the law. He was very serious as he said this. The last thing he said was---our freedom is right here---right now!
Al Frankin is getting ready to go to Iraq to meet the troops during a USO tour! He is less than gung-ho about this---but he is going with God and with All of our prayers as well! James Twyman has even send out prayers calling for Al's protection.
In Barbara Handclow's NEW MOON REPORT www.handclow2012.com she says this about this time we are in---

* U.S. Army War Resister Jeremy Hinzman: "I Have a Duty to Disobey" *
U.S. Army war resister Jeremy Hinzman made his case Monday for Canada to give him refugee status. Hinzman fled there in January after his application for Conscientious Objector status was rejected by the U.S. military. Jeremy Hinzman joins us from his home in Canada.
* Veterans Return From Iraq Disabled and Homeless *
Studies find a high percentage of Iraq veterans are returning home with mental problems and homeless shelters around the country are reporting they are already seeing some recently returned Iraq veterans showing up in need of shelter. We speak with UPI Investigations editor Mark Benjamin.
