Lavar: Welcoming Helena.
Helena: Good morning. A trifle early but welcome. We are approaching a critical phase in our relationship with Mother Earth. We are soon to be able to land among you, if the information that we have received is correct. That will be of great joy to us. It has been a long journey and a long wait for everything to be accomplished to allow for our landing among you. It won't be long now.
New topic: Here aboard the Capricorn, we have many skills that are used to keep the inhabitants and the shuttles all in good order. We raise our own food, at you have been told. We furnish our own maintenance of all equipment. However, it is far different from the kind of equipment that you use on Mother Earth. There is not near so much maintenance required. We have learned over hundreds of years how to build and produce equipment that will last many, many years without failure. That is something that is missing in your technology. Of course, you are making progress and replacing old equipment with new and better equipment. There is no problem with that. However, as you grow and develop you will find some items that can be optimized and will not need changes for many decades to come. [Like a frying pan.] There are specific items that once established are essentially the optimum and will not require changes again. Then the concentration can be on manufacturing such an item so that it will have great durability.
On occasion we need to upgrade some of our supplies. Mother Earth has much resources that are available. However, it is easier for us just to use the asteroids to provide us with any kind of materials that we may need. You will also be pleased to learn that we can produce many elements by transmutation methods. In fact, you in your laboratory are doing some of the bare beginnings of that technology with the use of your charge cluster technology. We shall soon be among you and will explore with you further development of that technology that is relatively new to your world. Your lab is a leader in that technology and will probably remain so, if you can resolve your funding problems. That is my message. Do you have any questions for me?
Lavar: There are others [from earth] who communicate with you and we are pleased to learn that. How will it be best for us to learn about gravity control?
Helena: We shall soon be among you and teach you about the elements of gravity control. It can be accomplished in some of your advanced laboratories. It will take some learning to be able to manufacture all of the devices that are a part of a gravity control system. However, that will be relatively easy for you to learn and to accomplish.
Lavar: Thank you dear Helena. Our blessings on you and your crew. We shall be most pleased to have your landings to occur as soon as practical.
