Lavar: Welcoming Helena.
Helena: Good morning. You are right on time and that is appreciated. You will soon be funded. That is our best information and we shall be pleased when we are able to come with our two crew members to help you in your new laboratory. Hopefully, all the problems that have held up your funding will soon be resolved.
There is much good that we expect to do for Mother Nature when we are allowed to come-and-go among you. We can help reduce the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere. As often stated, we can do other things that we are asked to do. You have been one to ask us to perform other important services and we respect your requests for our help. Hopefully, we will soon be able to do those requested tasks.
Much of what we can do is dependent on the advanced technology that we have here aboard this starship. We have no problems in being able to share some of our technology with you provided that the technology shared is not used for any military or weapon purposes. We are very strict about not helping, in any way to make weapons.
As soon as we are free to come-and-go among you we, and some of the other starships, will be doing our best to stop the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. There is no need for the continuation of the killing. The war was begun for political purposes and such nonsense shall soon cease. We are determined that we can bring peace to this world. Then there is much that can be done to help develop better conditions for many of the starving peoples in several countries. Instead of making war, this great country of yours must be helping to develop peace and prosperity for some of the rest of the world. That is my message for you this morning. Do you have any questions for me?
Lavar: Thank you dear Helena. I shall be most pleased to see our country changing from war to helpful peace. What can I do to help?
Helena: Your assigned task is to help in the development and commercialization of the new-energy device that you have been working on for several years. As I have stated, that technology is similar to the energy technology that we use. We shall be pleased to help you in the further development of your new-energy, space-energy-tapping device.
Lavar: Thank you dear Helena. I shall be with you tomorrow.
