Lavar: Welcoming Helena. Good morning! I am a couple of minutes early.
Helena: Good morning. Thank you for being on time. There is much good that you are expected to accomplish now that you will very soon be funded. You will, of course, buy the laboratory building and get it ready, as soon as possible, for full-scale use in the further development of the new-energy technology that you have been provided. As you have been promised, we will have two of our crew come to help you in your development efforts. It wont' take long for you to get a commercial version of the new- energy technology ready. Then you will be faced with how best to market this product. As you have decided and as we concur, the most immediate use will be for on-the-vehicle battery chargers for electric automobiles. We will do the best we can to encourage the development and improvement in marketing of electric automobiles. The use of an on-the-vehicle battery charger for such vehicles will be very important.
You will be expected to do the best you can to develop space-energy-tapping technology that would be able to completely replace the batteries in electric automobiles. That will be the technology development that will make the use of electric vehicles most popular. Then there can, finally, be a dramatic reduction in the outpouring of atmospheric pollution from millions of fossil-fuel-burning cars and trucks. That is my message for you this morning.
