Have you had any problems receiving the Dove Reports? Did you subscribe sometime in the past, and then suddenly at some point STOP receiving Dove Reports? Did you try to SUBSCRIBE AGAIN but it failed to be successful and you still did not receive Dove Reports?

I've had people tell me that no matter what they do, they just have been unable to "get on" the Dove egroup list. Others have said that they used to receive the Dove Reports, but suddenly the Dove Reports stopped coming to their email address and even though they have "re-subscribed", nothing they did made the Dove Reports start coming to their email address again. I think I have found the problem causing these situations; it is the "Bounced" list of Dove egroup members.

In the past when you stopped receiving Dove Reports, it was probably due to a TEMPORARY "disabled" status on your email account or when your email box was FULL and the Dove Report was unable to be delivered. When your email account is "disabled", or "inactive", or FULL, this causes any Dove Reports to be REJECTED and RETURNED to Yahoo!Groups with an ERROR message. This error message then causes YOUR EMAIL address to be TAKEN OFF the Dove Active Mailing List and put onto the "Bounced" list.

During the time your email address is on the "Bounced" list, ZERO Dove Reports can be sent to your email address. This is why some of you stopped receiving Dove Reports at times. I have the ability to UNBounce your email addresses and if your email address is still valid, the Dove Reports will start coming to your email address again as long as your account is ACTIVE and not "FULL".

Today there were 714 email addresses of Dove egroup members on the Bounced List. Some of these are probably email addresses for email accounts that have been CLOSED. However, SOME of these "Bounced" email addresses appear to be VALID email addresses. I can see from the records that some of you have tried to "re-subscribe" using the Bounced email address which STOPPED your "re-subscribe" from being successful.

This afternoon I have UNBOUNCED over 100 email addresses that look like they might be valid email addresses. If THIS MESSAGE is the first Dove Report you have received in a while, it's probably because I have UNBounced your email address so that you can again receive Dove Reports.

I also cleaned out the Bounced List of nearly all email addresses which were put on the Bounced List before January 2002. There were over 500 email addresses on the Dove Bounced List that were put into the Bounced List BEFORE January 2002 and I have deleted these 500 email addresses totally. None of these 500 email addresses have been able to receive Dove Reports because they were on the Bounced List instead of the Active Mailing List. Most of these 500 email addresses were probably CLOSED email addresses.

If YOU have been TRYING to subscribe to the Dove egroup or RE-subscribe and it has not worked, PLEASE do the SUBSCRIBE process AGAIN NOW that I have removed the problem of the old Bounced email addresses. YOU MAY BE SUCCESSFUL in SUBSCRIBING now that I have cleared up this problem.
